David Logan, age 29 of Temple, passed from this life Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Gatesville.
David was born on May 30, 1994, to Malinda Logan in Odessa, Texas. Raised by his grandmother, Catherine Dopita, he graduated from Little River/Academy High School and was a mechanic for 10 years. David loved his family, friends, his truck, and racing. He spent a lot of his extra time at Little River Dragway. David was exceptional at Bracket Racing and had plans to build a race car one day. He loved anything to do with automotive mechanics and he was an outstanding automotive technician. Heaven gained a heck of a mechanic and someone to tear up the Raceway in the Sky!
David is survived by his grandmother, Catherine Dopita; mother, Melinda Logan; daughter, Addie; brother, Brandon Logan and wife, Alisha; sister, Tammy Miller and husband, Lavon; grandfather, Billy Logan and wife, Gayle; many cousins; and friends.
A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday, January 5, 2024, at the funeral home.
