David Lopez, 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2026.
Born to Eustacio and Benita Lopez, David was a man defined by his humor and his unwavering kindness. He was a firm believer in second chances and was always the first to help someone in need.
He is survived by his three daughters, Dahlia, Rosemary, and Elena; and ten grandchildren: Alyssa, Enrique, Esmeralda, Justin, Julianna, Kaitlyn, Thomas Jr., Antonio, Emiliana, and Esabella, great-granddaughter Gabriella. He is also survived by his siblings Jesus, Aurora, Dolores, Noe, Esther, Elizabeth, Elias, and Dalia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Daniel, Eustacio Jr., and Adam.
David was a man with a truly generous heart who brought a lot of laughter to those around him, despite the personal battles he faced in his later years his family chooses to remember the man he truly was—the funny, generous, and loving person who existed beneath the illness. We will forever cherish the memories of all the good times we had with him.
