David Alan Lyon, born in Moberly, Missouri on October 26, 1953, and was a resident of Gonzales, LA. He passed away at his home on March 11, 2026, at the age of 72.
David enjoyed time spent with his family, especially traveling and riding his motorcycle with his wife.
David is survived by his wife of 17 years, Rene Lyon; children, Caleb Lyon, Jared Lyon, Garrett Lyon, Alyson Lyon, and Chloe Bishop, who was his granddaughter he raised as his own child; grandchildren, Jenna Lyon, Spencer Lyon, Emerlyn Lyon, Rettley Lyon, Marion Lyon, John Lyon; parents, Robert "Bob" Lyon and Marilyn Simcoe Lyon.
Daivid is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Adalida Lyon.
A private service to celebrate his life will be held at a future date.
