Robert "Thomy" Leger, 38, of Gonzales, La, passed away in the late hours of March 1st, 2026 at Our Lady of the Lake Baton Rouge hospital. He was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to two of the most loving parents James "Moose" Leger Jr, and Melissa "Missy" Leger.
Robert "Thomy" Leger was known for his fun loving and outgoing personality. He loved loud music and even louder trucks. He was always trying to do so much, from working on vehicles for work or just for fun. Thomy loved mud riding and helping people get out of the mud. He would have given the shirt off his back to help anyone. He loved to feel needed. He wanted to help and love as much as he could. Thomy was loved by many and will be missed by more than he even knew.
He is survived by his parents, James "Moose" Leger Jr and Melissa "Missy" Leger. His kid sister Aurora "Raury" Fabre and brother-in-law Joseph "Joey" Fabre and their kids, Charles and Abegayle. His older brother, James "Jamey" Leger III and sister-in-law Magdalen "Maggie" Leger and their kids, James IV, Joseph, John, Evelyn, Jacob, Eloise, and Joshua. His grandfather James "PawPaw" Leger Sr. and his closest confidants and best friends, Joseph "Joe" Dalton and Damon Guitreau.
In regard to a memorial and services, we are going to respect the wishes of Thomy, he asked that we not hold any services. We appreciate the love and support and send our own condolences out to the ones that loved him and are also going through this sadness as well.
