Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was quite the character. Worked with him for a number of years. Such a great guy. He will be missed! Godspeed Dave!

Dave was my friend for over 40 years. We were coworkers back in the day and when he found out I was trying to learn to mountain bike, he took me under his wing and taught me the right way. He did this for hiking and skiing as well. Over the years we had many adventures, from night riding on the Colorado Trail to magical days of cross country skiing. Dave was always up for a challenge. I climbed my first "14ner" with him; Mount Belford. My favorite times with Dave were when he would call me and tell me "it's time to climb the couloirs on the Peak". He took me to the edge of what I thought my body could do, and then just a bit beyond. For that I'm ever grateful. I'll miss you my good friend.

Part of the Donnell Gang. Two doors down. Dave it was great having you as a friend. Many miles on stingray bike together.

Have known Dave since 1963, he was a lifelong friend. From his absolutely brutal 1967 GTO,
to his McIntosh stereo equipment,
to his house in Colorado, he was over the top on everything he did.
He was very mechanically inclined,
could work on anything.
Dave will be sorely missed.
Condolences to all of the Malone family.
May he rest in peace.

Dave also loved his GTO IN HIGH SCHOOL. One that I didn't mind chipping in a buck or 2 for gas money. I mean gas was around $.30 a gallon.
