David Stanley Martin, age 50, of Louisville, KY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 27, 2024. David was a 1992 graduate of Little Miami High School, 1996 graduate of University of Cincinnati, and 2003 graduate of Central Connecticut State University. David spent his career as a registered nurse. He was an flight nurse for Miami Valley CareFlight in Dayton, OH, before completing his Master’s Degree and becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist where he spent the last 21 years with the University of Louisville Physician Group.
David was a loving dad to his beloved dogs Olive and Murphy. He is also survived by his loving sister, Kathy (Scott) Rigney, nephew Mason, niece Adyson, Uncle Hershel Martin, Aunt Lola Mae Killion, many loving cousins, close friends, Susan, Gary, Lucy (God-niece) Schneider, and a host of life-long friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Marilyn Martin.
Visitation will be held at Middendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions made in David’s name are suggested to the American Heart Association and can be made at the link below.
