David Martinez Obituary
The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away. As it hath pleased the Lord, so it is done. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
David L. Martinez passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 61. He is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Elena Martinez. He is survived by his wife Theresa Ann Scott Martinez and his children: MaryAnn (Marco), Kateri, Timothy and his grandson, Marco Antonio. He is also survived by four siblings: Enrique Martinez, Elena green, Patti Rodriguez, and Cindy Gonzales.
The most important things to David were his Catholic faith and his family. He was a dedicated husband and father who always put himself last in order to love and serve others. He also took great pride in his sales job with The A.I. Root Company. He loved serving his customers and was also very appreciative of the friendships and the support that he always received from the great people of this company.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30am on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Jesus & Mary Roman Chapel, 1401 W. Yandell Drive. Committal Service to follow at 1:30pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 401 S. Zaragoza Road.
