David A. Martinsky, 73, of Houston, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, in the Washington Hospital. He was born December 4, 1951, in Washington, a son of the late Andrew and Genevieve Marchinok Martinsky. Following the death of his mother, David was raised by his father and grandparents, Steve and Anna Martinsky. Mr. Martinsky was a 1969 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. He was employed by Coca Cola in Washington and Houston for 40 years, retiring in 2010. Dave enjoyed golfing, the Steelers and collecting Steeler and Coca Cola memorabilia. He greatly anticipated the holidays and will be forever remembered for his sense of humor. He is survived by Jane Vogenberger Martinsky, his wife of 30 years whom he adored; a son David Martinsky of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Christine Martinsky of Canonsburg; three stepchildren, Lori Babyak (Mike) of Smithfield, VA, Jennifer Dubbs of Pittsburgh and Ken Dubbs of Finleyville; two grandchildren, Emily and Johnny Babyak. Friends will be received from 2 to 4:00 pm., the time of service, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.
