David J. Maslowski

David J. Maslowski passed away peacefully early Monday morning surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Joelle (née Webb); Devoted father of Julie (Todd) Faifer, Ryan (Vicky), Luke, and Owen Maslowski; Proud papa/popeye of Emily, Andrew, and Claire Faifer, and Jake and Katelyn Maslowski; Loving son of Anthony (101 years young and WW2 vet) and the late Gertrude (née Grams); Dearest brother of Barbara Fuentes, Michael (Debbie), Anthony, John, and Mary Maslowski and many nieces and nephews.

Dave was known for his unwavering work ethic, generous spirit and mostly for his incredibly deep love for his family. A dedicated hockey coach who loved the game and especially treasured coaching Ryan, Luke and Owen. Being called Coach Dave was an honor and a hat he wore proudly! He was a self-proclaimed number one laser salesman in the world. His reasoning was that he worked for the number one laser companies and he was their top salesman year after year. In his mind that made him the best in the world. Who can argue that logic? Beyond work and hockey, he was a true beach lover, happiest with sand under his feet, a glass of wine in his hand and a sunset to the west surrounded by those he loved. His wisdom and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Chapel Service at 6:30 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, IL 60415. Interment private.
