CUTLER—David Joe McClain, 78, of Cutler, OH, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, at Waterview Pointe in Marietta, OH.
He was born Aug. 30, 1947, in Cutler, OH, son of the late Albert and Glady (Burnem) McClain. David grew up in the Cutler area and graduated from Warren High School. He was a very active person working on the family farm and enjoying the many activities including the field work, caring for the cattle and taking deep appreciation for the rural farm and all of it’s beauties.
David is survived by a sister, Judy (McClain) and Roy Alkire; a brother, Thomas McClain and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Donna, Doris and Janice and 3 brothers, Junior, Bobby and Jerry.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH. Burial will follow in the Graham Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, from 11 A.M. until time of the service.
