David McCormick Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 9, 2025.
David Harold McCormick, age 68, of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, passed away on November 27, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1957, in Granada, Mississippi to Harold and Billie Jean Havens McCormick.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his sons, Jason and Jessie McCormick.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Peggy McCormick; his children Sandra (Brent) McCormick Chaney, Daniel McCormick, and Anita McCormick; stepchildren Nathan, Kelly, and Sammy Phillips; his siblings Lisa, Carol, Lori, and Andrew McCormick; and his many beloved grandchildren.

David built a long and respected career as a printer technician, working for both E.O. Johnson in Wisconsin and later RJ Young out of Nashville. David spent his free time as an ordained Minister with a focus on Music. He took any opportunity with his family of musicians to serve his local community. Never one to stop learning or growing, he recently earned his realtor's license and began a new chapter as an agent with Big Dog Realty.

Known for his steady work ethic, quick wit, and the easy kindness he showed to everyone around him, David was a man deeply grounded in love for his family. His presence brought warmth and comfort, and his absence will be felt by all who knew him.

David's legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the many lives he touched with generosity, loyalty, and quiet strength.
