Mary Spears Obituary
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Riley Spears; her sons, David and Daniel Spears; her brother, Elmer "JR" Edens; and her grandson, Jeremy Spears.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Lafayette (Liz) Spears; daughters, Janice (Wayne) Winters, Rebecca (Chester) Wesbrooks, and Nancy (Butch) Sisk. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth Johnson, Christopher and Timothy Wesbrooks, Emily Spears, Susan Spears, Matthew Sisk, Adam Sisk, Daniel Spears, Jr., and Sandra Spears; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, with another expected.
Mary devoted over 30 years of her life to serving her community as a nurse, a calling that reflected her caring and compassionate spirit. She found great joy in life on her farm, worshiping at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church, and spending precious time with her family, whom she loved dearly.
Her legacy of love, service, and faith will be remembered always.
The family is deeply grateful to Cherety Benge for the loving care and kindness shown to Mrs. Spears.
