Cinda J. (Wood) Spears, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born October 24, 1960 in Lancaster, Ohio to parents, Roger L. Wood and Erma V. (Groff) Smith.
Cinda was a 1979 graduate of Fairfield Union High School and had many occupations throughout her life; Pridemore Bakery being one of her favorites. Cinda enjoyed traveling, music, antiques, old-time TV shows, spending time with family and friends; especially, her little dog, Frankie and special friend, Jerry Snyder, with whom she created many fond memories and adventures.
Cinda was at her best when called Grandma. Nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than her four grandchildren, Vincent, Presley, Bryce and Matix.
Cinda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Gray and son, Nathan (Sheri) Gray; parents, Jim and Erma Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger and brother, James Wood.
The family would like to thank Fairhope Hospice and all the wonderful doctors, nurses, aids and care workers who assisted throughout Cinda's journey.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date with details being posted on Morgan Funeral Home website and facebook page.
