Rodney Alan Tharp, 37, of Bremen passed away unexpectedly, on February 10, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1988 in Lancaster. He was a 2007 graduate of Fairfield Union High School. Rodney was an active youth coach for baseball, football, and wrestling. He was a FU football board member. Rodney was a devoted father to his children and a role model to all the youth he coached. He worked with his brother, Josh, owning J&R Home Improvements, remodeling houses in the area.
Rodney was proceeded in death by grandmothers, Willadean Yost and Penny Tharp; grandfather Rodney Stotts, and uncle Randy Tharp.
Rodney is survived by his children, Lillian, Rodney (RJ), and Laylaa; mother, Tamera (Bob) Turner; father, Terry Tharp; brother, Josh (Dina) Tharp, stepbrothers, Tommy (Jo) Turner and Robert (Alisha) Turner; nieces, Judy, Bree, Navie, Taylor; nephews, Braylen, Thomas, Brandon, Luke, Tucker; several aunts and uncles, many other family and friends.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 12pm until 2pm at Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Cremation will follow the visitation.
