Kenneth L. Downhour, 69, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center in the hospice wing.
He was born to the late Richard Downhour and Genevieve "Jean" Knepper-Kilbarger on February 25, 1956.
Kenny went to school in Lancaster, Ohio and worked for Fat Cat's delivering pizza for many years. He also worked in concrete and asphalt where he hurt his back and became disabled.
His love of German Shepherds was so obvious he could not go through life without one. Duke was his last dog and he treated him like his baby.
Kenny had a heart of gold - all you had to do was ask and he was there to help you. He enjoyed going to PWA wrestling with his oldest brother, Don and going out to eat with his sisters and brother once a month.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Echard; and son, Joel Downhour; siblings, Don (Linda) Downhour, Sharon (Don) Ogg, Jerry Downhour, Linda Huber and Rose (Don) McCoy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Doug Downhour; son, Richard Pennington Conrad Downhour II; and brother-in-law, Michael Huber.
A time to visit with Kenny's family will be Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 2 - 6 PM at Morgan Funeral Home in Bremen.
