David Charles McGrath, 61, of Oxford, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in Lafayette. He was born February 23, 1964, in Lafayette, IN to James Leo McGrath and Julia Gramman McGrath. On September 21, 1996, he married Mary Courtney Mefford in Auburn, IN at St. Marks Lutheran Church. David worked in Sales in the Commercial Cleaning Industry. Surviving are Wife, Mary Courtney McGrath of Oxford, IN; Son, Austin James McGrath of Oxford, IN; Brother, Dennis McGrath of Lansing, MI; Brother, Terry McGrath of Allen, TX; Brother, Patrick McGrath of Austin, TX; Sister-in-law, Sherry McGrath; Sister-in-law, Betty McGrath; Sister-in-law, Melissa McGrath; Bother-in-law, Stanley Mefford; Sister-in-law, Ellen Mefford. David was preceded in death by his Father, James Leo McGrath; Mother, Julia Mae McGrath; Sister, Cheryl Erk; Father-in-law, Donald Mefford; Mother-in-law, Frances Mefford. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Tuesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Memorial Ceremony will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 300 West Fowler Avenue, West Lafayette, IN 47906 with Pastor Randy Schroeder officiating.
