David McGriff Obituary
David McGriff, 82, of Ruskin, passed away on October 30, 2021.
He was born on July 31, 1939, in Ruskin, Florida to the late Henry and Katye Rae (Stephens) McGriff.
David retired from Mosaic after thirty years. He was a devoted parishioner of Wimauma Church of God. David served as Deacon at Doodle Hill, where he also taught children's church. In his free time, David also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Phillip Ray McGriff, David Patrick (Vicky) McGriff; sister, Edwina Parrish; grandchildren, Patricia (Joel) McGriff-Feicke, Shawn Patrick (Neva) McGriff; great grandchildren, Taegan Patrick McGriff, Matthew Ray McGriff, Leah Nicole McGriff, Jonathan David McGriff; many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine McGriff; siblings, Patrick Melvin McGriff, Marjorie Belisle; and granddaughter, Kathleen Victoria McGriff.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 10am until the service at 11am at Sun City Center Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Ruskin Memorial Park.
