David McKeon Obituary
David McKeon
12/23/1957-5/17/2025
David McKeon, 67, of Burlington, NJ, passed away at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly on May 17, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
David lived his life simply and fully. He enjoyed the moments of each day with a quiet acceptance of both the good and difficult times. He was adept at telling great stories, usually recalling his own antics as a boy and a man, and his laughter was quick and contagious.
He was a hard worker, always willing to lend a hand when needed. A member of Laborers Local 172, he was employed by numerous heavy highway contractors for 30 years before his retirement.
Born in South Amboy, NJ, David was predeceased by his parents, Francis R. and Helen A. McKeon. He spent his childhood in Sayreville, NJ, later moving to Springville, PA, for several years. He returned to Burlington, NJ, where he met and married his wife of 37 years, Georgeann McKeon (Camac), who sorrowfully predeceased him by one day.
He leaves behind the family he loved: His children, George Camac (Sheila), Phillip McKeon (Natasha), Michael McKeon (fiancee Kristine Bonaventura), and David McKeon. His grandchildren, Marissa Camac (fiance Dan McGahey), George Camac, Mason Maser-McKeon, and Isabel, Aurora and Ronan McKeon. His sisters and brothers, Sharon Fallon (Edward), Mary Ann Jennings (David), Francis R. McKeon Jr., and Jeffrey McKeon (Amy).
He also leaves behind cherished extended family members, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
"David we will continue to share your laughter and carry your memory in our hearts."
Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's viewing and memorial service on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union Street, Burlington, NJ. 08016. He will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 4527 Rt.130, Burlington, NJ.08016.
