David Lee McRoy, age 62, of Pittsburgh, Illinois passed away on January 18, 2025. Born November 20, 1962, in Marion, Illinois to parents Peter and Jeanette (Norris) McRoy.
David is survived by his father Peter McRoy; brother Greg (Beverly) McRoy; and daughters Angel (Arthur) Darnell and Misty Baker. Also survived by many grandchildren including Trinity, Brayden, Jeremiah, Tausha, and Mariah. Additionally, he leaves behind one great-grandson, Grayson; and two nephews, Curtis and Greg McRoy.
David is preceded in death by his wife Cindy McRoy; mother Jeanette (Norris) McRoy; grandmother Cliva McRoy; and brothers Bruce, Bobby, and Dennis McRoy.
David was passionate about cars, dedicating his career to working as an auto mechanic. Outside of his work, he enjoyed grilling, watching TV, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
