David John Mercer 75, passed away peacefully at home in Apopka, Florida on January 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving daughters, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 23, 1950 in Torquay, Devon, England, David was the beloved son of the late Olaf and Joan Mercer. He was also preceded in death by his devoted wife, Judy, whose memory he carried with him always.
David is survived by his daughters Lyndsey Barnhill of Longwood Florida and Helen Weir and his younger brother Alan Mercer of England.
David will be remembered for his quiet strength, his steady presence and the deep love he had for his family.
