David Michael Merullo

David was a high school hero of mine. I was a sophmore and David was a senior. I was honored to be on the same sports teams with him because he was such a great athlete and, because of how he carried himself!

And will never forget how David's Dad be-friended my sister and I when we were in elementary school at Prospect Street school. My sister and I used to walk home together and cut through the back yard next to their house. Lenny was always out back puttering around doing something, and always had something to say.

I am very saddened to see this. David was our neighbor on Summer Avenue - 3 houses down. His grandmother was our babysitter. Our families grew up together and his folks were dear friends of my parents. So many someone´s wonderful memories of growing up together. My deepest condolences. Pam Benshimol Fink
