David F. Metzger of Amherst, OH passed away on September 16, 2025. Born in Cleveland, OH, David worked as a sales representative for Lorain Printing Company for 27 years and a specialty food company in Huron, OH for 3 years. During his retirement, he began 1st Option Radon Measurement where he was committed to saving lives from radon induced lung cancer. As an instructor since 2016, he taught Radon measurement, Radon mitigation, and advanced Radon certification courses to several thousand students across the country. The family will celebrate his life privately. In lieu of flowers, David requested that you create memories with your loved ones. Arrangements entrusted to Dovin & Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center.
