David Meza Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lighthouse Family Mortuary - Greeley on Feb. 6, 2026.
David V. Meza, 65, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in Greeley. He was born on August 11, 1960, in Fresno, California, to Ralph B. Meza and Irma V. Beltran.

David learned the value of hard work at a very young age. Growing up in California, he helped his family on the farm beginning at just seven years old-an experience that shaped his strong work ethic and sense of responsibility throughout his life. Those qualities followed him into adulthood and were evident in everything he did.

Later in life, David met the love of his life, Carolyn, whom he cherished deeply. They were married for ten wonderful years, and David treated his wife like a queen, loving her with devotion and pride until his final days.

David was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent many years working at Stamoules Produce, where he served as a supervisor and was respected for his reliability and leadership. The last six years, he worked at Noffsinger in Greeley. There, he made and built beautiful relationships that will be cherished for years to come. Outside of work, he was a passionate sports fan, proudly cheering on the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. He also found joy and peace in gardening, especially planting flowers, and was known for his calm, gentle, and steady demeanor.

David and Carolyn shared many special moments together, enjoying NASCAR races, the rodeo, and listening to-and singing along with-gospel music and jazz. Above all else, David loved his family. Family gatherings brought him immense happiness, and he treasured time spent surrounded by those he loved. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Meza; his daughter, Pricilla Meza; and his cherished grandson, Caden Flores; stepchildren, Diana Herr, Michelle Adame, and Gary Mitchell; siblings, Ralph Meza, Elsie Meza, Ernie Meza, Larry Meza, and Lisa Gallardo; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph B. Meza and Irma V. Beltran.
