With deep sorrow, the family of David Milkes announces his passing on August 28, 2025, at the age of 54, after a courageous and prolonged battle with cancer. David was born on January 26, 1971, and throughout his life he was known for his warmth, humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. He was a devoted son to Harold and Sara Milkes, a loving brother to Jesse Milkes, and a cherished uncle to his niece, Adela Milkes, who brought him endless pride and joy. A lifelong sports enthusiast, David found great joy in following his favorite teams and was especially passionate about fantasy football, where he was known among friends for his competitive spirit and knowledge of the game. Beyond sports, David had a zest for life and lived it fully, finding happiness in simple pleasures, laughter, and time spent with loved ones. David's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His kindness, loyalty, and spirit touched many, and his absence will be deeply felt. Service will be Private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's memory to a cancer research foundation of your choice. May his memory be a blessing. Arrangements by Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel (305) 932-2700.
