David Eugene Minick, 78, of rural Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away January 18, 2025 at his home. He was born December 12, 1946 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Orphas Eugene and Mary Virginia (Beakley) Minick, both who preceded him in death. One grandson also passed away earlier.
David worked as an automobile mechanic and loved to hunt and fish. He also had a special interest in old cars.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Shirley Irene (Haner) Minick; a son, Anthony Minick (Evelynn) of Evening Shade; a daughter, Tirenia Desmedt (Maurice) of Lake City, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Kay Hattenhauer (James) and Teresa Meree Brown (Tim), of Cave City, Arkansas; many other relatives and good friends.
A memorial service will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 beginning at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Highway 62/412, Highland, AR 72542.
