Kate,
That write up does say it all. Dave was an amazing guy and those words truly describe him to the T. I first met Dave I´m guessing about 40 years ago when he lived on Highland Ave in Jenkintown. I had been referred by a mutual friend to do some electrical work for him. As in hook up a hot tub. My first impression with the yellow motor cycle in the living room was the impression that stuck with me as you´ve described, very creative. Who puts a motorcycle in their living room. Dave does. With the exception of the mustache, which took me to thinking, "This Guy must be part of the ZZ Top band". Well that started the relationship that I had with Dave. The long witty talks in the driveway at 2459 led to him inviting me sailing on the Barnegat Bay. That day inspired me to get back into sailing. From then on Dave was now not just Dave, but my good friend Sailboat Dave.
I will miss him terribly.
When I´m on the water I truly know that he will be right there with me at the helm.
