David Moore Obituary

David William Moore, 87, of Aitkin, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin. He was born December 30, 1937 in Edina to Robert and Myrtle Moore. David was united in marriage to Janice Augusta Mattson on August 4, 1962 in Minneapolis. David worked for the United States Post Office for 36 years until retiring. He also worked off and on for Richfield Bus Company for 40 years. David enjoyed listening to music and camping with his family.

David is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Janice; his parents; brother, Leroy Moore; cousins, Stan and June Moore.

David is survived by 3 daughters, Sandra (Dave) Raley of Minneapolis, Susan (Ed) Gabert of Aitkin and Sarah Moore of Aitkin; grandchildren, Alexis Moore and Sean Moore; great grandchildren, Tinayah Moore and Aveah Moore; other relatives and friends.
