David W. Moore of Harvard, IL entered eternal life on November 2, 2025, at the age of 60.
David was born on March 22, 1965, in Chicago, IL the son of George and Rosalie (Majewski) Moore. After high school, he attended trade school and obtained automotive certifications. For more than 20 years, David has been a dedicated CNC machinist at Synax, Inc in Buffalo Grove. He never missed a day of work and was committed to being the best he could be.
David was a big dreamer and a hopeless romantic. While he could be stubborn, he had the biggest heart. David loved his family unconditionally and treasured time spent with them. He was a proud father and was overjoyed when he became a grandpa. David loved Thanksgiving and Christmas and enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. David was honored to be the holiday family man. He loved a variety of music including everything from Led Zeppelin to Johnny Cash and Elvis. David was looking forward to making the trip to Birmingham, England in December with his brother to honor the late Ozzy Osbourne. David was truly all about family and instilled the importance of strong family bonds in his children. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
David is survived by his children David (Sami) Moore Jr, Vincent (Torisha) Moore, Dylan Moore, Harley Moore, and Steven Chila; grandchildren Amelia Willow Moore, Kiera Naomi Moore, Vincent Michael Moore II, Icess Ruby Moore, Noah Alexander Moore, Liam Asher Moore, and Jasper Albus Moore; siblings Raymond Majewski, William (Jo) Moore, Darlene (Steven) Moore, George (Cindy) Moore, Patty Moore Bradley, and Steven (Loretta) Moore; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
He was reunited in death with his parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 3 PM until 7 PM at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL 60033. A prayer service will take place at 7 PM.
