David Warren Moore was born on October 22, 1977, and left this earth on December 15, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on 12/28/2025 from 3-6p at Ellis County BBQ, Midlothian, TX.
David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. He found true joy in coaching youth football, baseball, basketball, and softball, not just teaching the game, but also teaching teamwork, confidence, and how to have fun along the way. He loved cheering them on from the sidelines, and celebrating every small win.
Family and friends meant everything to him. He valued time spent together, shared stories, and never missed a chance to laugh. His love for LSU was well known, and game days were something to look forward to. David had a playful, competitive side, and was a mean blackjack player who truly enjoyed the game. Above all, being involved with the kids, whether through sports or everyday moments like riding bikes, brought him genuine happiness.
He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, dedication to others, and the way he made people feel welcome and valued. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, both on and off the field.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. David is survived by his father Bill Wallace; Brother Michael Wallace; Wife Christy; daughters Britnie and Landry; son Kevin, and Grandsons Zane and Ezra.
