When I was about 6 or 7 years old we were visiting at Dave' s mother-in-laws house and she had just made a batch of freshly baked cookies. Apparently she made him cookies all the time. She gave me a delicious cookie and I was happily enjoying it when Dave walk in the house - saw me eating the cookie and barked 'who said you could have one of my cookies'! I think I probable wet my pants it startled me so much! (it was a bark to me!) For years I was a little intimidated by Dave but once I became older and more accustomed to his sense of humor - I learned how to dish it right back at him. Sure gonna miss him and so glad to have him as part of my family!
