David Moscatello Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 10, 2025.
David Wayne Moscatello, 58 of St. Clair County, passed away after a long battle with alcohol on September 9, 2025. He was born on June 10, 1967 to the late Oresto and Irene Moscatello in Mt. Clemens. David lived a life marked by hard work, creativity, and a deep love for the outdoors. A skilled tradesman by profession, David owned his own business specializing in ceramic tile and marble. His craftsmanship left a lasting mark in countless homes and spaces, and his ingenuity led him to invent a product for the tile industry. Outside of work, David found peace in nature. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who cherished the quiet of the woods and the rhythm of the seasons. He will be remembered for his dedication to his craft, his inventive spirit, and the moments of joy he shared with family and friends. He is survived by his children; Brittney Jewell and Joshua Moscatello, granddaughter, Rosalie, siblings; Gary Moscatello, Glen (Patty) Moscatello, twin brother, Daryl Moscatello, Donna (Ron) Ogle, and Laura (Mark) Tanderick, along with several nieces and nephews. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Jowett Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Moscatello Family.
