David Brian Scott Mueller passed away February 26, 2024. He is remembered for his physical strength, strength of character, hard work, protectiveness, faithfulness and commitment to those he loved. You could count on David carrying through with all of his other commitments as well.

He loved to beat us at Scrabble. He always said, "I learned everything I know about Scrabble from you, Mom". Yet he solidly beat his Dad and I every time by over 200 points, even by our combined points. He also enjoyed several video games.

He loved to put together any Lego sets and had quite a collection of them. Some of the sets he built were complicated projects like National Monuments and famous buildings. He had a pretty good collection of rocks and especially loved to bust open geodes. He was quite a reader, and enjoyed books by Clive Cussler, world view and philosophy books, World War II, Civil War, and other military battle and historical books and movies.

He built a lot of forts, fences, and tree forts. He learned electrical wiring and the way appliances or other things like engines or tools worked. He modeled his dad as a kind of an engineer. More than all of those things, as he got older he became very interested in knives and had a huge collection of them, every shape and size. He was an artist and drew elaborate and intricate designs. Some of those, he wood- burned onto unique surfaces like pizza bread boards.

David loved to wrestle with his friends. They were always trying to outdo each other's holds and strategies. Sometimes, as their strength and size increased, they ended up actually hurting each other, providing proof of their manhood. More than one pair of glasses was broken, with a few bruises, scrapes and bumps becoming badges of their prowess.

David loved football. The Broncos were "his" team. He played on a public high school football team for a few months with 5:30 AM practices, and weight lifting. Desiree always tried to get him to convert to the Cowboys, and may have succeeded.

As a homeschool student for all of kindergarten through high school, he made almost straight "A's". He read well, wrote very well, loved history and did well in math even though it wasn't his favorite. David loved to tell stories, and wrote a small book, illustrating it as well, every year. Once when he told a lie, it was decided that every time he told a lie, he would have to write a story, since he loved to tell them so much.

His primary jobs were as a Trainer at Dion's and he worked as a security officer with a couple companies, rising to the rank of Corporal with IPS. He could be trusted and was always concerned with making things right. David always felt a strong obligation to watch out for and protect his family, always warning us of dangerous or potentially dangerous situations.

David is survived by his beloved Desiree, Leah, Jr., Sophia, his Mom, Carolyn and Dad Geoffrey Mueller, his sister and brother-in law, Amy and Alex Sorbello and their children, Anjulie and Quinn, his brother and his wife, Jamie and Rose Mueller and their children, Andrew, Aubrey, and Jamie Jr., his sister Christine and her husband, Phillip, and their children Monique, Avi, Emma, and Naomi , his brother Timothy and his wife Jennifer Mueller, and their children, Alexis, Sophia, Briella, Lyla, Evangelina, Ethan, and Austin Mueller, his sister Annika Mueller, his brother, Christian Mueller, and his sister, Katrina Mueller and her children, Emily and Sawyer and many other precious family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at City Church of Albuquerque, 2801 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87110, on Monday, February 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM. A light refreshment reception will follow. You may visit the online guestbook for David Mueller at www.FrenchFunerals.com
