David Nelson Obituary
June 11, 1973 - January 11, 2026
David Scott Nelson, a native of Aiken, South Carolina and a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the age of 52. After an extended bout with colon cancer, Scott died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends who loved him.
There will be a gathering to celebrate Scott's life at the Cellar Door Tavern, 10185 County Road 64, Unit 5, in Daphne, AL, on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 4PM – 6PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Colon Cancer Research, the Baldwin County Animal Shelter, to a local food pantry or Habitat for Humanity.
