David Joseph Nocerino Sr., 58, of Sebastian, Florida, a proud native of Staten Island, New York, passed away on February 18, 2025.
He was a man who lived life to the fullest, cherishing his family, his love for cars, and the loyal companionship of his Great Dane, Rocky. A proud Italian, David had a deep appreciation for classic mobster movies-especially The Godfather-and never visited an Italian restaurant without ordering the entire menu.
David was a man of many trades. In his early years, he worked in carpenter union. Where he helped built bridges and commercial structures across New York. He was an entrepreneur at heart, running a variety of businesses, from ice cream trucks to tow trucks, limousines, and auto body shops. No matter the venture, his hard work and determination were always evident.
David was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Richard and Maryanne Stapleton. He is survived by his sister, Richelle Walters.
David's greatest joy in life was his children-Crystal Nocerino, Tiffany Frias, Brittany Timms, Deborah Montella, and David Nocerino II. His love for them knew no bounds.
As a devoted grandfather, David adored Christopher, Jonathan, Noah, Connor, Sabrina, David Jr III, Spencer, and Teresa.
His presence was larger than life, with his sharp wit and infectious sense of humor, he brought laughter to all who knew him.
David's legacy will live on through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
