THERESE RACHEL FREDERICKS

Therese Fredericks, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 100. Born on October 17, 1925, she lived a long and meaningful life centered on family, creativity, and simple joys.

Therese was the beloved daughter of Christopher Friedrich Behrens and Helene Lenchen Wustefeld Behrens. She later earned her high school GED and built a life defined by kindness, devotion, and resilience.

She enjoyed many hobbies over the years, including knitting, painting, cooking, and cruising. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was also known for enjoying her coffee and chocolate-small pleasures that always brought a smile.

Therese was preceded in death by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Joy; her son, Jack; and her siblings, Rachel and Chris.

She is survived by her son Jeff and his wife Jenni, along with her grandchildren Amy, Sarah, Katie, Kristin, Pam, and Anna. Therese also leaves behind several great-grandchildren-Kylie, Emmy, Kyle, Paisley, Lily, Colton, Payton, Jack, Davison, Luke, and Hunter,-who will carry forward her legacy of love and family.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11am at Strunk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1623 N. Central Avenue, Sebastian, Florida, followed by a Funeral Service at 12pm. A Committal Service will take place at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach, Florida at 1pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 6:00PM at the Sebastian Yacht Club,820 Indian River Drive, Sebastian, Florida 32958

Therese will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to her family, and the quiet strength that carried her through a century of life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
