To David's beloved family and friends,
It has taken me years to accept the passing of a friend who was one of the most genuinely kind people I ever met. David and I met in Chicago in 1993 and becomes fast friends. He was truly there for me as I went through some of the most challenging times in my personal life and he was an unconditionally supportive and loving friend. It broke my heart to learn of his passing at such a young age and that I could not return the kindness he had showed me. David and I had a normal pre-social media age parting where our lives just went in different ways. Years ago, I was looking him up when I came across the then recent news of his passing. Such a shock and a loss. I want his family to know that I am forever grateful to their David for making me feel special and cared for during some very turbulent times and know that I will think fondly of him for as long as I am capable. I have had the privilege of meeting some very remarkable people throughout my lifetime, but David was, indeed, one of the most incredible. And we had so much laughter together. That is what I will remember. Always.

David and I were fast friends when we met back then during those South Beach days - always a free spirit and a sweet person. I think about him from time to time and he is truly missed. Prayers for your family Dear David
