David Pacheco

David Pacheco, age 76, born in Roswell, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on September 26, 2025. David is survived by his wife of seven years, Rosa; stepchildren, Sahara Barraza and Manuel Barraza; father, Fernando Pacheco; siblings, Margaret Griego, Juanita, Lovato, Alice Chavez, Gilbert Pacheco, and wife, Monica, James Pacheco and wife, Diana, Bernadette Martinez and husband, Paul; Godchild, Paul Pickerel; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Librada, sister, Viola Trujillo, and Goddaughter, Francine Vigil. David served his country proudly in the United States Army where he was awarded the Purple Heart and was honorably discharged. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 9:45 a.m.at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m.  Word Service will follow the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. internment will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St in Santa Fe where he will receive military honors and be laid to rest.
