David F. Pallone, 84, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, January 29, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. David was born on March 7, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Dominic and Dina (Ciardelli) Pallone.
David was the ultimate family man who more than anything loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a father figure to many and always saw the best in people. Along with his brother and best friend James (Mary) Pallone, he was a self-made and successful entertainment and restaurant entrepreneur in the Columbus area for almost 60 years. David loved snow skiing, boating, entertaining and OSU football. He liked sharing amusing stories of his time in the army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers James and Frank, his sister Delores, and his son Timothy.
David leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years Sydney (Thompson) Pallone, children: Frankie (Richard) Folk and Dominic (Kelly) Pallone; grandchildren: Michael (Natasha) Pallone, Ashley (Tia) Pallone, Jacob Folk, Sydney Folk, Tyler (Hailey) Brown, David Timothy Pallone, Anthony Pallone; great-grandchildren Jayce Pallone and Graham Pallone; grand dog Leo, along with other extended family and friends.
We will miss you and we will hold down the fort.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 1:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
