David Glenn Palmer a greatly loved son, father, brother, and uncle was born on 30 April 1987 and died age 38 on 13 October 2025 in Oakdale Connecticut.

David's daughter, Aleighna meant the world to him. He loved spending time with her and his niece, Layla, and nephews, Daniel and Logan. He also enjoyed muscle cars and working on his 1968 Mustang. He enjoyed going camping and being outdoors and being around a campfire with his friends.

David was an HVAC tech. He graduated from Norwich Technical High School in 2005 as the class Salutatorian. He was well known and admired around the neighborhood because he always tried to help his neighbors. He once walked across the neighborhood in a snowstorm to restart a furnace for an elderly couple after they posted a call for help on Facebook in the middle of the night.

David is survived by his daughter, Aleighna, his mother, Renea Wunderlin (Daniel), his father, Glenn Palmer (Penny), his sister, Ashley Palmer, his brothers, Dylan Wunderlin (Brook) and Trent Palmer, his niece, Layla Cuff, his nephews, Logan Palmer and Daniel Wunderlin, his grandmother, Judy Fahey (Tom), and his grandfather, Glenn Redmond (Cindy).

A celebration of life will be held on November 8 th starting at 1:00 pm at the Oakdale Fire Department, 444 Chapel Hill Road, Oakdale, CT 06370. A separate service will be held for family and friends in Central New York at a time and place to be announced.
