David Pasko Obituary
June 4, 1959 - December 12, 2024
David Michael Pasko Sr., 65, of Monroe, Michigan, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the ProMedica Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan. David was born on June 4, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, and was the son of David John and Patricia "Cookie" (Vance) Pasko. In his younger days, David played drums in the Challenger Baton & Drum Corp. He was a 1978 graduate from Bedford High School, where he participated in the Marching Band and the wrestling program. He was employed as a mechanic with the Ford Motor Company. David was active in the Boy Scout Program, both as a youth in Troop 320, and then as a leader in Troop 770. He was a proud coach for the Special Olympics in softball, skiing, and hockey.
David was a member of the North Monroe Street Church of God, and the N.R.A.
He loved fishing, hunting, scrapping, airbrushing, art, snowmobiling, bowling, and NASCAR.
David was preceded in death by his father, David John Pasko; grandchildren, James and Owen.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jean Pasko; mother, Cookie Pasko; children, David "DJ" Pasko Jr., Dana Marie Pasko, Brian Matthew Pasko, Shannon Kidd, and Megan (Katie Tuller) Kidd; grandchildren, Aurora, Skylar, Dakota, Abby, Haley, Lucas, and Walker; great-grandchildren, Beaux and Penolope; sister, Rebecca Pasko; brothers, Roy and Paul (Debra) Pasko; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
