David L. Patterson age 67, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. David was born on August 18, 1957, in Eupora, MS to Leslie B. Patterson and Christine Draine Patterson. Mr. Patterson served in the United States Army and was a retired carpenter. David is survived by his wife, Joanne Patterson, Eupora, MS; one daughter, Ashley Patterson, Eupora, MS; two grandchildren, Makayla Patterson and Steve K. Cordingly, Jr. both of Tacoma, WA; one great grandson, Emerson K. Cordingly, Tacoma, WA and three brothers, Larry Patterson, Willie Patterson and Clyde Patterson all of Eupora, MS. Funeral Services to celebrate the homegoing of Mr. Patterson will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church in Eupora, MS. Interment will follow at Churchill Cemetery in Eupora, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church instead of Churchill Cemetery. The Patterson family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora, MS from 2:00PM until 4:00PM. Mr. Patterson will also lie in state on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church in Eupora, MS at 10:00AM until time for services at 11:00AM. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is entrusted with all arrangements.
