Robert Earl "Bobby" Robertson, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 73 in his home at Slate Spring, MS. Born in Eupora, Mississippi, on June 20, 1952, Bobby lived a life deeply rooted in his love for family and the great outdoors. He will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to both his loved ones and his work.
A lifelong resident of Slate Spring, MS, Bobby made a name for himself as a dedicated logger. Beginning his logging journey as a teenager alongside his father, he ultimately established Robertson Logging, a venture he ran successfully alongside his son Jeff through their family business, Triple R Logging. Logging was not just a profession for Bobby; it was a passion that connected him to the land and his lineage.
In addition to his successful career, Bobby served in the National Guard for 17 years, exemplifying his sense of duty and commitment to his community and country. He was also a member of Bradford Chapel Church. where he found spiritual nourishment since childhood.
Bobby's life was rich with simple pleasures-he thrived in the natural world, enjoyed gardening, and had an insatiable appetite for reading. His loving nature and adventurous spirit set a wonderful example for his family, which includes his wife Courtney Renee White Robertson of Slate Spring, MS; his mother Ola Pittman of Eupora, MS; his son Jeff (Robin) Robertson of Calhoun City, MS; his sisters: Shirley (Jerry) Holliday and Shelby Muslewhite, and her fiance' Jeffrey Wright; and his grandchildren: Cainan Lenard, Kage Robertson, Ashley Staten, Lindsey Warren, Meagan Jackson, and Stevie Jackson. He is survived by ten great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of love.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father Robert Vernon Robertson, daughter Jennifer Lenard, and brother Rickey Robertson.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Bobby's life. A public viewing will be held at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Bro. Craig McCormick officiating. Bobby will be laid to rest on the same day in Bradford Chapel Cemetery. Kam Crowley, Jerry Holliday, Kenneth Lollar, Cainan Lenard, Kaine Pittman, Kage Robertson, Brian Smith, and Brian Weeks will be serving as pallbearers.
