Kenneth Charles Moss, 80, of Bruce, MS. born on May 25, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, left this world on February 3, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City, Mississippi. A dedicated father, beloved grandfather, and cherished brother, Kenneth's life was a testament to hard work, love, and the simple joys of life.
Kenneth served honorably in the U.S. Army, a period that instilled in him values of discipline, integrity, and service. He later took these values with him into his career as a branch manager at United Ag Products in Greenwood, Mississippi, where he dedicated many years of his life to the agricultural community. Following his retirement, he continued to pursue his passions as a cattle farmer and forester, where he found great fulfillment in the land he tended.
A member of Concord Baptist Church, Kenneth's faith was central to his life. He found solace and strength in his community and was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Outside of his professional and spiritual life, Kenneth's heart resonated with the melodies of his harmonica as he delighted in playing music that brought smiles to the faces of family and friends. He also cherished the tranquility of fishing, appreciating the peace that nature gifted him. He also enjoyed sharring his muscadines and scuppernong with friends and family.
Kenneth is survived by his three devoted sons, Matt (Amy) Moss of Oxford, MS, Mark (Jonnette) Moss of Ridgeland, MS, and Michael (Kim) Moss of Bruce, MS, who will carry forward his legacy of love and strength. His grandchildren, Tucker (Tiffany) Moss, Cody (Taylor) Moss, Nicole (Taylor) Flynt, Casey (Isaac Hughes) Moss, and Kaitlyn (Reed) Robison, will remember him for his laughter and the lessons he imparted. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Emily Skelton of Oxford, MS, and an extended family of great-grandchildren-Ford Moss, Easton Flynt, Karter Flynt, Macie Flynt, Lane Moss, and Landon Moss-who brought him immense joy in his later years.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Richardson Moss, father, Benjamin Vester Moss, and his mother, Hazel Teal Moss.
A graveside service will be held at Concord Cemetery on February 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM. with Bro. Jeff Taylor officiating. Taylor Flynt, Isaac Hughes, Chris Long, Cody Moss, Tucker Moss, and Reed Robison will be serving as pallbearers.
The Staff of Parker Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Moss family as they begin this new season of life. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
