David B. Peppel, age 65, Husband of Joanne Gaffney of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Phoenixville, Pa, he was the Son of Dolores (Campbell) and Barry Peppel.
David was a graduate of Phoenixville High School class of '76, a Penn State Alumni class of '80, obtained his Master at UCLA, and retired as a Tax Accountant. He was an avid sports fan, and supported the Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation. David enjoyed reading history books, golfing, and travel. he loved animals, especially dogs. Above all he loved his family.
David is survived by his wife Joanne Gaffney, her four children and her eight Grandchildren, his sister Diane Peppel, his step mother Jeanne L. (Peppel) Galen, wife of Sherwood Galen, David's nephew Joshua and his wife Nicole Peppel, father of Brendan, Zachary, Colton, Raegan, Riley, and Lily. He was preceded in death by his parents Barry Peppel, Dolores (Campbell) Peppel, and his brothers Alan Peppel, and Glenn Peppel.
Services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of your choice to The Philadelphia Eagles Autism Foundation, https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/eaglesautismfoundation/ or to the SPCA, https://www.pspca.org/. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
