David L. Peters, of Pittsburgh, passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 79.

He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Kelanic) Peters; loving father of Marian (Steven) Myers and Michael (Malgorzata Morajka) Peters; adoring grandfather of Luke, Benjamin, Josiah, and Sarah; son of the late William O. and Mary (Machupa) Peters; brother of Susan Peters and the late Carma Locke, Jim Peters, and Russ Peters; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Dave was a proud Vietnam-era Marine Corps veteran who served as an Embassy Guard in Hong Kong.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, at the St. Nicholas Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, 903 Ann Street, Homestead, PA 15120, from 12 Noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 PM. Please meet at church. Interment will follow at Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Pennsylvania 15120.
