David Ray Pierce

David Pierce, born on December 10, 1948, from Lester, WV, a very kind, loving, caring and humorous individual who left us on May 2, 2025.

He was the son of the late Earnest and Minnie Pierce.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earnest and randy pierce; a sister, Mary Cook; 2 sons, Kevin Pierce and Michael Goff; a daughter, Morgan Pierce.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, teresa Pierce; daughters, Donna Evans, Tammy Cox and husband Brady; sons, Matthew Pierce and wife Haylee, Jody Goff and wife Tasha; brothers, Ronald Pierce and wife Doreen, Eugene Pierce and wife Marrie; sister, Myrtle Hylton. He had 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was truly proud of each and every one of them.

He was a coal miner for 22 years and when the mines shut down, he worked in construction until his retirement. He had a great passion for old cars and a love of fishing, camping and riding 4-wheelers. He enjoyed keeping himself busy.

His departure leaves an unfillable void in our lives, yet we find comfort in the memories and everlasting love he shared. David was a remarkable man, dependable, loving and caring. You were the center of my world. You were my companion and friend from the beginning to the end.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
