Michael Q. Bazzie passed from this life on January 23, 2026 following a long illness. He was a retired construction worker with a vast repertoire of skills and a lifelong resident of Wyoming County.
He was born in Skinfork, January 22, 1941 to Amerigo and Virginia Cook Bazzie. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Virginia Angell Bazzie. He is survived by his children Michael K. Bazzie and his wife Geraldine, Rosalynd Jensen and her husband Richard, and Chris Bazzie and his husband Shawn, three grandsons Luigi Malabanan, Alex Bazzie, and Spencer Jensen.
The family also wishes to acknowledge cherished friends and neighbors Karen Haynes and her entire family for all they have done for us.
The family requests that a donation to Bowers Hospice House be considered in lieu of flowers.
