David Allen Pigg

David Allen Pigg, 73, died peacefully Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. Born Jan. 17, 1953, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he is preceded in death by Charlotte Pigg, his first wife and the mother of his daughter, Melissa.

He is survived by his wife, Mary K. Pigg; his daughter, Melissa Williams; his son-in-law, David Williams; two grandsons, Lane and Dalton Williams; and three great-grandchildren, Daisy, Wren and Viviane Williams.

David was also preceded in death by his parents, Lora and Ernest Pigg, and a sister, Carolyn Pigg. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and most recently attended Kimberling City Church of Christ.

After nearly 40 years of service with Whirlpool Corp., he enjoyed retirement through fishing, woodworking, gardening, traveling and visiting with friends and family. In the years following the passing of his first wife, he was blessed with love and renewed happiness when he met Mary while on a cruise with friends. For eight years, they embraced and nurtured their marriage and life together in Branson West, Missouri, which included retirement careers at Silver Dollar City, where David proudly operated Majestic River Falls.

David's family invites you to attend a visitation and graveside service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville, Arkansas, from 5 to 7 p.m., and a graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, Arkansas, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. Fellowship and a meal will follow at Heritage Addition Church of Christ.

David would be honored to know that Thad Nipp, Jon Nipp, Josh Nipp, Braden Tucker, Lane Williams and Dalton Williams will serve as pallbearers.
