David M. Pillack

David M. Pillack, age 62, went to his eternal resting place on February 2nd, 2026, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. He was born on November 23rd, 1963, to Marvin and Gloria Pillack in Giddings, Texas. David spent most of his younger years in Fedor, where he built lifelong friendships and memories.

He married his first love, Brenda Pillack, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, love, and family. From their union came two children – their daughter, Whitney Hibbler, and son, Eric Pillack. Brenda passed away too soon, but David always carried her memory close to his heart.

David worked hard throughout his life, spending many years driving big trucks before joining the county, where he dedicated the last 13 years as a heavy equipment operator and a true jack of all trades. His work ethic, sense of humor, and willingness to help others earned him deep respect from coworkers and friends alike.

In 2017, David found love again and married Amy Pillack, who he lovingly called "his angel on earth." Together, they enjoyed life's simple pleasures – cruising backroads on their golf cart, making trips to Lake Travis and Seadrift to visit family, and sharing countless laughs. Some of David's favorite times were those spent swapping old stories with family and friends over an ice-cold beer and a smoke.

David was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Pillack, father Marvin Pillack, grandparents William and Elsie Pillack and Albert and Hattie Prellop, father-in-law David Cork, and one of his best friends Carter Biehle.

He is survived by his loving wife Amy Pillack and her three children, Holly Rosales and husband Jesse, London Jacob and wife Bailey, and Victoria Mathis; his daughter Whitney Hibbeler; son Eric Pillack and wife Tracy; mother Gloria Pillack; mother-in-law Gail Cork; in-laws Earl and Donna Schulz; sisters Janet Spitzenberger and husband Robert, and Amy Magnuson and husband Bradley. His grandchildren – Katelyn and Beau Pillack; Brennan and Bailor Hibbler; Porter and Pyrce Jacob; and Paisley Rosales.

David leaves behind countless other relatives and friends who will miss his humor, kindness, and generous spirit. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
