Gloria Bishop Obituary
Gloria was born on October 21, 1953, to the late Lee Roy Darby and Annie Pekar Darby. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister whose love for her family defined her life.
Gloria is survived by her loving son, Brian Dennis, and his wife, Lindsay. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Preston and Taylor Dennis, who were truly the light of her life.
She will also be deeply missed by her siblings, Charlotte Mueck and her husband, Joe; Gary Darby and his wife, Jody; and Jody Darby and his wife, Jean.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bishop.
Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale will host services for Gloria on Monday, February 2, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Rockdale, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
